Crafting an artisanal chocolate brand that feels as decadent and sophisticated as its product, from logo to unboxing.
OUR A VISION IN NEED OF A VOICE
Mauve Chocolate Co. was founded on a passion for single-origin cacao and ethical sourcing, but their initial branding didn't reflect the premium quality of their product.

A TANGIBLE SENSE of LUXURY
For the packaging, we focused on the tactile experience. We selected a heavy, uncoated paper stock and used a subtle blind emboss for the logo, creating a feeling of understated luxury.
The minimal design puts the focus on the chocolate's origin and flavor notes, reinforcing the brand's commitment to quality and transparency. The result is an unboxing experience that feels like a discovery.
STRATEGY FIRST, DESIGN SECOND
Our process began with a deep dive into the world of luxury goods, not just chocolate. We identified an opportunity to move beyond typical "craft" aesthetics and embrace a more fashion-forward, editorial feel.
Our strategy was to build a brand around the concept of "edible art," treating each chocolate bar as a curated piece. This informed every decision, from the choice of a modern, elegant wordmark to a muted, sophisticated color palette that allows the product itself to shine.
